Weekly Post, Week of March 3, 2013

Post date: Mar 3, 2013 4:15:52 PM

Greetings Troop 737! Wow, what a busy scout week. It started last weekend with a great Klondike experience, moved to troop elections on Monday, the New Scout & Parent orientation yesterday and tomorrow new leader training, call ILST and a PLC meeting. See below for details on Monday’s meeting.

I have finished compiling the results of the election and have posted it on our web site at this page: https://sites.google.com/a/themountaintroop.org/membersonly/leadership-roster/leadership-roster. If anyone has any questions or concerns, there is still time to make final adjustments. Most important, if you still need a leadership position for rank advancement and don’t have one, please come and see me so we can figure out what you can do. Remember, the overall objective is to be as true to the elections as possible while still making sure scouts that need a leadership position for rank advancement get a job.

Final note on elections: If you signed up for Den Chief, you automatically get that position. I have carried over last election's Den Chiefs and added a few for this election as well. If you are a den chief and not actively working with a den, please see Mr. Osborn and Mr. McCabe. They will help get you placed. You can’t receive credit for Den Chief if you don’t work with a pack.

I want to say congratulations to all of Troop 737’s new leaders!!!
