Greetings Scouts, Scouters, and Parents,

A lot has changed recently. Please review the upcoming events from the calendar.

Thanks again to everyone who made the Fort Lupton New Scout Campout/canoe trip/pig roast/service project/camping extravaganza a great success. If you have not done so already, please take a minute to thank everyone involved.

The new T-Shirts are in! Just in time for summer camp, we have sizes to fit all dimensions including YOUTH sizes. New 2010 Economic Recovery Pricing: $8/T-Shirts and $15/Hoodie. Mrs. Lopp will be at tomorrow's May 17 meeting and will bring them back for the Court of Honor on May 24 as well. loppcolorado@msn.com

Things are getting crazy with school ending. However, PLEASE pay prompt attention to the summer camp emails. There is a lot of planning the next few weeks before summer break. The June 7 parent meeting will be mandatory for all adults with scouts attending either summer camp. The following meeting on the 14th is for both adults and their scouts.

The new roster has been posted to the secure portion of the website. Thank you Mr. Johnson.

July 31 Centennial Celebration. This looks cool. The Colorado Rapids and the Boy Scouts announced a special engagement on July 31 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. All participating Boy Scouts in this truly unique event will arrive at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park the morning of July 31 prepared for a full day of activities, beginning with a special tour and programming in the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge and on Dick’s Sporting Goods Park’s fields complex. Scouts will then have the opportunity to witness a Colorado Rapids home match, as they move inside the stadium to cheer on the Rapids during the club’s regular season match against FC Dallas. Following the game, scouts will be treated to a special nationwide broadcast as the stadium’s RapidsVision joins in live to A Shining Light Across America from the Centennial Celebration Show from the 100th Anniversary National Scout Jamboree in Fort AP Hill, Virginia. Check it out.
