T737 - Weekly email - January 10

Post date: Jan 11, 2010 12:17:31 AM

Greetings Scouts, Scouters, and Parents,

OKPIK was great. Glorious weather, good snow, and grand times. Thanks to all the OKPIK 15 for making it a successful trip!

Website. As you have hopefully seen, the website is up and running. Basic instruction and the general access username and password were issued by email a few days ago. With time, I’m going to discontinue these weekly emails. See the Announcements page on the website for more details. Everything I have been including in these emails is now and will be posted on the website. Email and the phone tree will be used for special last-minute announcements, so check the website at least weekly. We will be putting on a presentation at a troop meeting on the website. Stay tuned. www.themountaintroop.org.

Please check the signup deadlines. There are a lot of them this month. You snooze… See the Troop Calendar and Announcements pages.

January 11, Patrol Leader’s Council (SPL, ASPLs, PLs, APLs, and Scribe only)

January 18, Troop Meeting, Career Night.

Other announcements. Please go to the Announcements page on the website for additional announcements regarding the 50-Miler, the request for volunteers for the 2010 Report to the State, and sign up deadlines.

Tigers. Please show up early and plan on staying later to help set up and clean up.

These are now in the troop calendar and, as a reminder, in posted announcements.
