New Scout/Parent Orientation - this Saturday!

For new scouts and parents:
The New Scout/Parent Orientation is this Saturday beginning at 8:30 AM at Evergreen Lutheran Church. Although this orientation is for the new scouts and parents, anyone in the troop is encouraged to attend if you need a refresher or have questions about a specific matter. Look at the agenda for the appropriate session. Attached below are the two schedules; one for the scouts, a second for the adults. The new parent agenda provides for a break from 12:30 until 3 PM, so you can run errands, head home and let the dog out, sleep, caffeinate, hang out, etc. We should wrap up by 5:30 PM or so. Please come with breakfast in your stomachs; we will feed you lunch and dinner, and we’ll have coffee brewing. We will take a headcount in the morning for food, so if you are not going to be there in the morning, please let us know.
All new scouts and my trainers will need to wear full Class A uniforms and bring your Boy Scout books!
For trainers:
Please be there around 7 PM Friday night. Bring your overnight stuff like a sleeping bag, pad, pillow, PJs, overnight kit. I will bring drinks, so bring a water bottle for your beverage. Also please bring interesting snacks to munch and some APPROPRIATE movies to watch (that means PG guys, PG-13 in a pinch). Pleeeeease – not Hot Rod again! We will be training from 7 PM until you can demonstrate a rigorous and perfectly executed command of the material, then we’ll goof off after that.
