Wow! and missed circle time announcements

Wow, what a great night! Awesome food, great participation and fun had by all. Congratulations to the combined new scout patrols for winning the “Silver Ladle Award” for their venison stew. You guys have set the bar pretty high in regards to scout cooking and we expect great things throughout your scouting career. Also congratulations to the Stags for Best Desert and Best Realistic Dish and the Sharks for most Unique Dish. Well done Scouts!

Things we learned last night:

1. Scouts can cook some awesome meals

2. Parents like seeing their scouts cook

3. A regular meeting is not enough time for this event

Because we did not have time for circle time here are some other announcements:

· There will be a Philmont organization meeting this Wednesday at 7pm at the Angry Lama in the Conifer Crossings building, 11825 Highway 285, Conifer, CO 80433. There will be some Philmont veterans talking about backpacking tips. Everyone is welcome to come who would like to learn more about backpacking.
